Admission Terms

Purchasing your ticket is a confirmed booking - Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

Children 3 years plus require a cinema ticket. Children 2 years and below are only admitted at management discretion.

CEA Cards are accepted for all films apart from Event Cinema and Live Theatre Performances.

Tickets can also be purchased in advance from the Box Office, Online or via our Telephone Booking service.

Telephone Booking & Online Booking closes 30mins prior to the performance time and there is a charge of 70p per ticket.

We are pleased to accept payment by Cash and most major Debit/Credit cards.

The doors to the theatre generally open 5 to 10 minutes prior to the advertised programme time.

There are mostly, but not in all cases, around 20 minutes of commercials and trailers that will start first at the stated showtime.

The use of recording devices is strictly forbidden.

Please switch off all mobile phones as soon as the lights dim, and please do not bring food and drink purchased outside of the premises into the theatre.

Parking

The Savoy Cinema and Restaurant is situated in Causewayhead, half way up the street. Causewayhead is at the top end of Market Jew Street. The striking landmark of the domed Lloyds bank, visible as you enter Penzance, is almost at the bottom of the street. The cinema is just 5 minutes walk from the main railway and bus station. There are several nearby car parks accessed from Clarence Street, which runs adjacent to Causewayhead. St Erbyns car park provides cheap long-stay parking and is two minutes walk from the Savoy.

Disabled Facilities

The Savoy Cinema is a ground floor cinema complex with a bar and restaurant on the first floor.

Wheelchair Access - The Savoy Cinema in Penzance provides access to the building via a ramp up the 2 steps into the foyer. There is a wheelchair bay with an extra cinema seat next to it in Screen 1. Screens 2 and 3 are accessible, however a wheelchair would have to be placed at the front of each screen, or the customer transferred to a cinema seat.

Wheelchair/carer spaces cannot currently be booked online, so please contact the cinema's box office during normal opening hours to enquire about seat reservations and/or other accessible facilities on 01736 363330.

Disabled Toilets - Disabled toilets are not available, however the main toilets are accessed on the ground floor.

Infrared Hearing Aid/Induction Loop - The infrared hearing aid/induction loop is available in Screen 1 only at present.

Infrared Audio Description - Infrared audio description is available in Screen 1 only at present.

Merlin Cinemas participate with the CEA card which is a national concessionary card developed by the UKCA for UK cinemas. This allows people with disabilities to obtain one free ticket for a person accompanying them to the cinema.
